Abstract
Tennis is generally considered as one of the most corrupt sports in the world in terms of match-fixing. This paper will analyse the sports betting market and match-fixing trends in tennis in the past 10 years, and critically assess the enforcement of Tennis Anti-Corruption Programme by the tennis governing bodies. It will also look at the reasons behind match-fixing in professional tennis and what can be done that is specific to tennis to reduce the incidences of such corrupt practices. The paper will adopt interdisciplinary approach and combine the regulatory, legal, practical, statistical, and socio-psychological perspectives on the topic.
