Dr. Liu, Day-Yang is now the professor and Vice President of National Taiwan University of Science and Technology in Finance and He is also the Director of Center for the Study of Lottery and Commercial Gaming.

The author had received a PhD degree in Economics from Tulane University in 1988 and he is associated with Taiwan tech fro 31 years.
