The UNLV School of Nursing is accredited by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing Commission of the Collegiate Nursing Education (AACN-CCNE) and has full approval by the Nevada State Board of Nursing to operate in Nevada. We have an outstanding group of faculty, many of whom are Certified Nurse Educators and many who have funded research and publish extensively.
The overarching goal of the School of Nursing is to help shape the future of nursing education, research, and practice. To that end, the faculty have accepted "Shaping the future of nursing today" as the school’s motto.
