About the Collection
Being well educated involves developing an array of intellectual skills, having the ability to use a variety of methodologies to understand our changing world, and having a broad base of diverse knowledge. The College of Liberal Arts offers students a well-rounded education in the humanities and social sciences, and provides students with a solid foundation for a lifetime of learning and discovery. The diverse range of faculty and curriculum at the college allows the more than 3,700 students in liberal arts to learn how to think, how to reason, and how to problem solve — invaluable skills in an ever-changing world. By studying the past and present, students also develop their analytical and communication skills, while gaining a better understanding of people and society, all tools necessary for success.
