Abstract

The purpose of this chapter is to examine emotion and its various components as related to sex and gender. In doing so, similarities as well as differences are addressed particular to emotion. Aspects of measurement are addressed in addition to how variables such as gender are conceptualized and operationalized in the extant literature.
