Abstract
The “Stickman” lives in every biomechanics laboratory. He is a “simple” man that is generated in biomechanical processing software. In this chapter, we use the Stickman as a model to overview selected aspects of human movement and performance in order to gain an appreciation of their complex interactions. We wish to assist the reader in developing skills in conceptual thinking and reasoning.
