About the Collection

UNLV’s Festival of Communities began in the spring of 2007. The event was created to celebrate and demonstrate the rich cultural diversity of UNLV and the Las Vegas valley. The program has grown from a few dozen booths and 1000 participants to a celebration that now features more than 180 booths and attracts more than 7,000 to the UNLV campus each spring. The event also showcases the research and creative activities UNLV students through poster demonstrations of their work and accomplishments.
