Abstract
In this paper, I explore the role of popular culture, entertainment, and media in the organization a multi-sited, Las Vegas-Based megachurch. This project will highlight how the dynamism and innovation of this approach to Christianity, especially when put in practice throughout a multicampus church network stretching around the world, creates both possibilities for broader evangelization as well as internal tensions and challenges. Drawing from mixed qualitative methods, I explore the experience of leaders and members in their attempt to negotiate their positions within this type of religious organization.
