Abstract
As a committed radical activist who loved good writing, good food, and good friends, Valerie Taylor never stopped believing in the transformative power of love and revolution. Unique among both pulp novelists and women writers of her era, she creatively incorporated her progressive politics with lesbian feminism and her marketable craft of storytelling.
