Abstract

In this episode, two Rebels - Mark Steele, founder of the Restaurant Hospitality Institute and Amanda Koeller, Lead Brewer for Big Dog’s Brewing, will take you through a fun, informative, mixology session!

Mark has operated hospitality venues in most major Strip resorts including Bellagio, Caesars Palace, Mandalay Bay and Wynn. Mark has worked and learned from some of the greatest chefs, sommeliers, restaurateurs and nightclub operators in the entire world. In 2015, Mark founded the Restaurant Hospitality Institute. RHI is the first and only hospitality server certification in Nevada, certified by The Commission on Postsecondary Education. Mark is also personally certified by The Court of Master Sommeliers, Cicerone certification program, ServeSafe and The Sake Education Council.

Amanda Koeller is a professional brewer and has been the Lead Brewer for Big Dog’s Brewing Company in Las Vegas since 2015. She works in all areas of the brewing process and manages the brew schedule and production efficiency. Prior to brewing, she worked in beverage programs for almost a decade in bar and restaurant management, working on mixology programs and studying under the Tippling Bros.
