Description
How does pregnancy change a woman? Can it change her fundamental inner experience? I explored that question by examining my inner experience (thoughts, feelings, sensations, and so on) using Descriptive Experience Sampling, a beeper method, for several months while pregnant and for several months after giving birth. This mosaic – composed of 120+ images taken nearly daily during that time – provides an external picture to the study of my private, dynamic internal life.
