Our research examines the experiences of approximately 350 students from our comprehensive, sex-positive undergraduate sexuality course. The instructors use a combination of lecture, mixed media, and teaching assistants who lead small group discussions, which helps create a community of leaders, advocates, and friends even after the course has ended. In their assessment, students report feeling excited about what they learn, greater comfort dealing with challenging topics, as well as growth in their sexual intelligence in terms of gender, sexual orientation, consent, and kink/BDSM activities. This visual, representing their overwhelmingly positive educational experiences, features images provided by our classroom community.
