Description
Pollination research is of global interest for natural area biodiversity conservation. This Spotted Flower Buprestid (Acmaeodera sp.) that measures less than 9mm in length was collected from the habitat of a rare and endemic flowering plant at Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. Invertebrates were analyzed from field collections in an effort to identify potential rare plant pollinators.
