Description
In August, Ray Cho, PhD candidate in Hospitality (speaking) and Dr. Bo Bernhard, Executive Director of the International Gaming Institute (on video conference), presented at the 26th Annual Northeast Asia Economic Forum in Hong Kong. Speaking to a group of leading scholars, economists, and government officials, Cho and Bernhard contributed to a session on the future of tourism. They highlighted that more cross-disciplinary research is required to fully understand the social, cultural, political, regulatory and economic factors related to the expansion of legalized gaming and the development of integrated resorts—Nevada’s most economically significant global export.
