Abstract
The field of couple and family therapy has delineated ways in which technology affects couple and family systems. In general, we have proposed that technology affects both the structure and process of relationships. What is known less, however, is how one would apply the couple and family technology framework to cases of sexual dysfunction where technology plays a part. Thus, the authors’ purpose of this article is to outline both how the seven elements of the Internet and new media contribute to sexual dysfunction and how they can be used to contribute to the recovery from sexual dysfunction. © 2017 College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists.
