Opolis: An International Journal of Suburban and Metropolitan Studies, a publication of the Lincy Institute at UNLV, is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal focusing on suburban and metropolitan studies.

About Opolis We are pleased to announce the revival of Opolis originally published in 2005-2006 as a joint project of Virginia Tech and the University of California, Riverside. The journal is now produced by The Lincy Institute at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). Opolis is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal that focuses on suburban and metropolitan research broadly defined. Call for Submissions Opolis is now accepting submissions of original research articles from a multidisciplinary range of social and natural sciences. We will consider both quantitative and qualitative methods and applied work that addresses new ways of improving metropolitan growth. Submissions to Opolis should be between 5,000-7,000 words and must follow in APA format (7th Edition).
