Abstract
This book provides opportunities for active learning and student practice in the key areas most important for success in high school. Skills and strategies include remembering information, reading and taking notes from textbooks, taking notes in class, using the library's print and electronic resources, using reference sources in both print and electronic forms, interpreting visual aids, writing a research paper, taking tests of various types, using time effectively, and organizing study space.
