Abstract
We report an extensive study on total and partial-ion-yield spectroscopy around the S 2p threshold in SO2. All positive and negative single-ion channels have been measured. Several cation fragments with the same mass/charge ratio could be distinguished by taking advantage of the 34S isotope. The O− yield as a function of photon energy shows strong enhancement on the below-threshold resonances with two broad weak peaks above threshold corresponding to doubly excited resonances.
