Brookings Mountain West provides unique research opportunities for undergraduate students at UNLV through the Brookings Public Policy Minor. Within this minor, a capstone course is required, which consists of a research paper written under the supervision of a UNLV faculty member. In some cases, these research engagements produce publications on policy issues relevant to the Mountain West Region. Any interactions with a Brookings Scholar or the public policy minor can result in possible internships or other published work, aside from the capstone papers.
