Abstract

Breast cancer is a leading type of malignancy among women around the world. The incidence of breast cancer is increasing in Asian American women. Early detection through mammography is a potent means to reduce mortality associated with this cancer. However, there is paucity of data and interventions regarding mammography promotion interventions among Asian American women. Hence, the purpose of this study was to evaluate current interventions for promoting mammography among Asian American women and suggest recommendations for designing efficacious interventions.
