Abstract
The article evaluates the effects of silica fume content on the wear resistance and strength of three-, seven-, 28- and 91-day moist-cured concrete manufactured with 0, 5, 10, 15 and 20% silica fume used a replacement for part of the fine-aggregate. The influence of different combinations of curing methods on the abrasion resistance and strength of the fine aggregate-replaced silica fume concretes is also studied.
