Abstract

AI will transform RG

Artificial intelligence is the foundation of the future of decision-making. Why? The speed of new system data output is accelerating much faster than the ability for humans to interpret, correlate and make decisions.

What is needed is:

  • IoT machine integration

  • Real-time data flow

  • Heterogeneous big data set

  • Fine granular data

  • Multi-game/multi-denomination information

  • Player tracking integration

  • Player behavior information

To successfully create a quantitative RG AI Solution the following parameters are required:

  • Speed between each bet (accelerates/decelerates)

  • Change in the amount bet (increase/decrease)

  • Money balance on the EGM before subsequent cash in.

  • Number of losing bets in a row vs. other data

  • Game type changes during the same session

  • Denomination change

  • Total amount played per session

  • Total time played per session

  • Speed of risk category change

To successfully set up an RG AI Solution, we need to define the median of a player behavior by standard profile:

  • Normal Player

  • Player At-Risk

  • Define risk categories and gating triggers

  • Set up alerts when there is a deviation from the median

  • Create a monitoring dashboard

  • Implement an intervention strategy

  • Set up an exclusion list

  • Set up exclusion list triggers

The blockers to success:

  • Education

  • Migration to cloud / big data

  • Quantitative research

  • Know Your Client (KYC)

  • Perception of Revenue Loss

  • Regulations

The path to predictive addictive gambling is simple:

  • Big Data

  • Cashless

  • KYC

  • AI

Keywords
