Abstract
This talk features Dr. Tosney, who recently received his Ph.D. in history from the University of York and who served as the Center's April visiting fellow. He speaks about the development of licensing, regulation, and moral attitudes concerning gambling in both early modern England and 20th century Las Vegas.
