Winner of the 2018 Image of Research Contest - Undergraduate Student category
My research examines the ways undocumented students thrive, and resist in a hyper anti-immigrant era. I aim to explore how these students are still capable of laughing and resisting despite living through harsh family deportations and harmful attacks towards their immigrant community. This picture shows the way undocumented students flourish in a hyper anti-immigrant era as they become leaders, and healers who are sustaining a movement with the vision of achieving liberation for their communities.
