Description
I study HIV-infection prevention methods and its impact on population health. Currently, I am exploring perceptions and enablers of HIV prevention market strategies among young college students. The image shows the Dahlia plant of Mexico has so many petals, evolving over time. The petals signify the many prevention methods of HIV-infections, such as Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP), Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (antiretroviral), condom usage, abstinence, etc. that is evolving until the final cure is found. When the petals of the Dahlia plant fall out, leaving the stalk and last petal, it will signify we have found the most sustainable and effective prevention approach.
