An alumna of Yale University and UNLV, McBride received numerous accolades for her debut novel, We Are Called to Rise, and is the 2015 recipient of the Silver Pen Award from the Nevada Writers Hall of Fame. Her second novel, ‘Round Midnight, also set in Las Vegas, will be released this spring. A book signing followed the discussion.
