Abstract
N-heterocyclic phosphine (NHP)-thiourea-promoted thiophosphation of thiols has been developed for the synthesis of phosphorodiamidothioates under additive-, metal-free reaction conditions. This reaction takes place at room temperature and exhibits good functional group tolerance. The key to success is that the thiourea group can serve as an excellent leaving group, which is tethered with NHP moiety.
