Abstract
Dissolution of the polymeric nitridotechnetic(VI) acid in aqueous HF results in the formation of the [TcNF4]– anion. The presence of the paramagnetic anion in such solutions can readily be confirmed by EPR spectroscopy. Addition of CsF or (NEt4)F gives orange‐yellow, diamagnetic solids of the compositions Cs3(NH4)[F4NTc(μ‐O)TcNF4] and (NEt4)3(NH4)[NF2Tc(μ‐O)2TcNF2]2, respectively.
