Abstract
After a brief reflection on the development of psychotherapy up to the present day, I summarise the current evidence base for Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and Solution-Focused approaches to organisational process (130 published outcome studies). Becoming familiar with the literature has changed over the last 50 years. It is no longer a matter of chatting to colleagues in your own field. New projects are published in many countries and languages. The database is now ex tensive and we need to develop strategies and systems which will enable us to keep pace with the expanding area of knowledge. How may this be done?
