Abstract

This edited volume explores information literacy threshold concepts within disciplinary contexts. An introduction explains the theory and history of threshold concepts and the ACRL Framework for Information Literacy for Higher Education. Contributed chapters describe authors’ experiences with negotiating information literacy threshold concepts and provide suggestions for addressing a threshold concept or concepts within a specific discipline. Copy edits were approved in June 2017, with publication anticipated in fall 2017.
