Abstract

This book is volume 4 of the Proceedings of the International Colloquium in the Philosophy of Science, held in London in 1965. Rather than containing the acutal proceedings, it is a book based on them and edited by Imre Lakatos and expansion rather than a faithful report of the acutal discussion' (p. vii). The work contains contributions by Paul Feyerabend, Thomas Kuhn, Imre Lakatos, Margaret Masterman, Karl Popper, Stephen Toulmin, John Watkins, and L. Pearce Williams.
