Abstract
Charm City is under construction. It is a space occupied with mutability, free will and perception through physical evidence. This is the ephemeral renovation project of the individual. It is a poetic city trying to articulate what it is to have the rhythms of history and new philosophy manifest into the real. Motion is central to the city and central to the empty space the city has yet to define or occupy. Could Charm City exist outside of America---yes---but the words and sounds would be different. Central to America is motion and central to motion is a guttural voice: an individual moving within America, rebuilding and deconstructing in each move towards love, paycheck and destination.
