Abstract
To participate in contemporary society, we increasingly need to interact with digital technologies. To do so efficiently, we need to adjust our sensorimotor skills and perceptual aptitudes, our need for social recognition, and our emotional orientations, among others, to the digital logic. These adjustments in turn present us with several paradoxes that we need to resolve. These adjustments and decisions prompt the development of a terminal self.
