Abstract
NEW Leadership Nevada 2020 completed last month and our student leaders were tasked to work on adding to the Viva Las Visionaries narrative. In this episode about (the variety of struggles first-generation students face while navigating American culture, language, and the education system) featuring: Ariadna Perez (Political Science at University of Nevada Las Vegas), Sukhanjot Kaur (Human Development and Family Studies Major Accounting Minor at University of Nevada Reno), and Luisa Valles (Criminal Justice Major Pre-Law Minor at Nevada State College). Together as a group that learned and worked together at our conference, they shared candidly and personally you find your YOU!
