Abstract
Las Vegas native Andrew Kiraly holds a degree from the MFA program in Creative Writing at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and has previously served as a writer and managing editor of CityLife newspaper. In 2005 he took over as editor of Desert Companion, the monthly magazine of Nevada Public Radio. His new book, Crit, a tragi-comic novel about a jaded L.A. rock critic who travels to Las Vegas for an unexpectedly revelatory assignment, has recently been published by CityLife Books.
