Public Lands Institute researchers conduct a variety of wildlife monitoring projects at Lake Mead National Recreation Area including: federal highway monitoring as it affects desert tortoise and bighorn sheep habitats; peregrine falcon, other bird, and ungulate monitoring and management to preserve and conserve species of interest.
